Bio | Francesca Pazniokas writes and directs folk horror fables for a modern world. Often uncanny, grotesque or fantastical, her films and plays explore stories of alienation, disability, madness, and queerness in all senses of the word. Her short films have screened with multiple Oscar-qualifying festivals (most recently 6FT. at Cinequest) and her playwriting has been produced on four continents. She’s also half of Alienchild, a queer and disabled-led artistic duo, alongside producer and performance artist Rae Boyadjis. |
