Bio

Nina Thomas is a French/Spanish Documentary and Commercial Editor/Director based between New York City and Paris.
She has worked on commercials and branded content pieces for clients such as Toyota, Astier de Villatte, Hotels.com, ShopBop or the Epilepsy Foundation. Some of her work has been featured in GQ Magazine, Condé Nast, Esquire and Vogue Magazine.
Her documentary work has ranged between environmental and social justice films. Since 2017 she has edited the short doc LOVE FROM AFAR, presented at Yale University in 2018, and the feature film THE ART OF OSTAD, which premiered at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. In 2019 she made her directorial debut with the music video My Lover, I Don’t Need You for which she was awarded Best Director at the 2020 Austin Under the Stars Film Festival. In 2020 she finished editing the acclaimed feature doc UMA: A Water Crisis in Bolivia, which has now been selected for over 10 film festivals around the world and was awarded Best Feature Documentary at the Red Nations International Film Festival.
