Bio | Stephanie Houten is a multimedia professional specializing in filmmaking for social change, working with artists, nonprofits, and community organizations to tell cinematic stories that engage audiences. As a longtime “one-woman band” video creator for behind-the-scenes and promotional style videos, camera operator, and first assistant camera, Stephanie has a strong technical background. She is a seasoned festival and events camera operator, and has filmed artists such as Kimbra, Paul Simon, Green Day, and Digable Planets. In 2023, as Stephanie emerges as director and cinematographer, her leadership, creative direction, and collaboration skills have become hallmarks of her productions that bring her innovative visual concepts to life.
